The reason why Sonic's name is still Sonic instead of something like Sonia, Sonica, or Soniqua is because for starters, Sonic isn't even a real name, meaning it's probably not gender specific. Secondly, none of those have anything to do with speed/sound/whatever like the word sonic! Plus Sonic just sounds way past cool. also i was too lazy to edit the logo*COUGHCOUGHAHEM*
